Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - The people of Saxony-Anhalt can expect a warm and cloudy weekend. On Friday there can be showers and individual strong thunderstorms until noon and in the evening, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Friday. Heavy rain and stormy gusts can occur.
"We expect a complete change in weather after the very hot day yesterday," said a spokesman for the DWD. A cold front is displacing the warm air of the past few days. The temperatures on Friday range from 22 degrees in the Altmark to 31 degrees in Anhalt. The lows are between 17 and 13 degrees.
"Saturday will be a pretty nice and sunny day," said the DWD spokesman. The day remains rain-free. The maximum temperatures range from 22 to 25 degrees, in the Harz from 16 to 21 degrees. At night, temperatures drop to 13 to 7 degrees. Sunday starts sunny. Then cumulus clouds form, but it remains dry. The temperatures are a maximum of 25 to 27 degrees, in the Harz Mountains 19 to 23 degrees. The lows are 15 to 10 degrees. Monday should also be warm.
