Saxony-Anhalt: Water police will be checking more frequently until June 6th

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - The water police will be checking commercial and leisure shipping for almost two weeks starting this Thursday. The Saxony-Anhalt water police announced on Tuesday in Magdeburg that Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony were involved in the cross-state priority checks. It is about the correct equipment and compliance with traffic regulations. Recreational boat drivers should be made aware of traffic safety for the upcoming season. In the past two years, the focus controls had failed due to the corona pandemic.
