Leipzig (dpa/sa) - With snowfall, ice and frost, winter draws attention to itself in Saxony-Anhalt at the weekend. On Friday it will initially snow until the afternoon, with maximum temperatures of one to three degrees, in the Harz Mountains it will be minus two to zero degrees. At night, with low temperatures of minus six to zero degrees, there will be light snowfall again, as the German weather service announced.
According to the forecast, Saturday will be cloudy, with some snow falling at minus one to plus one degree, in the Harz Mountains at minus three to minus one degree. Sunday will be cloudy, but mostly without precipitation. The temperatures will rise again slightly to one to three degrees, in the Harz to minus two to plus one degree. The wind is blowing weak from the northeast.
