Saxony-Anhalt: Women in Saxony-Anhalt are slightly in the majority

Halle (dpa/sa) - women are easily in the majority in Saxony-Anhalt. Around 1,114,000 girls and women lived in the state last November and thus represented 51 percent of the total population, as reported by the State Statistical Office in Halle on Monday. In 2021, women in Saxony-Anhalt were on average 49.8 years old and thus 3 years and 6 months older than men.
