Leipzig (dpa/sn) - After online events due to Corona two years ago, the Leipzig industrial fairs Z and Intec are celebrating a comeback at the exhibition center. The trade fair duo will also become a trio from March 7th to 10th with the GrindTec tool trade fair. Compared to the last edition before Corona 2019, however, the trade fairs are smaller. As the organizers announced on Wednesday, 821 exhibitors from 29 countries will present themselves. Four years ago there were 1324 exhibitors from 31 countries. The exhibition area also shrank from around 70,000 to 50,000 square meters.
The Leipzig Trade Fair sees the industrial fairs as the first important meeting point of the year. After the pandemic break, it was possible to set up an extensive range, explained Managing Director Markus Geisenberger.
