Among them were 76 twin births as well as one triplet birth and one quadruple birth, as the hospital announced on Monday. At the Leipzig University Hospital (UKL), 2,346 children had seen the light of day in 2,251 births last year. According to UKL, the parents were happy 89 times with twins, three times even with triplets.
