Coach Alexander Waibl's team lost the top game at doubles winner and table leader Allianz MTV Stuttgart 1:3 (25:20, 16:25, 21:25, 17:25). Fourth in the table concludes the first half of the season with their fourth defeat.

The women from Dresden got the better start to the game in front of 2023 spectators. They served powerfully, acted variably in attack from a stable assumption and the defense was also solid. Again and again they gained a lead, which they were able to extend to the end. For the hosts it was the first loss of a set in a Bundesliga home game.

MTV coach Tore Aleksandersen reacted and made two changes in his formation before the second half. Roosa Koskelo replaced Michelle Petter in the libero position and Simone Lee replaced Laura Künzler in the outside attack. This measure had an effect, especially since the Dresdeners now had problems accepting and gradually lost the thread of the game.
