Saxony: Drink driving: Two injured and 30,000 euros in damage

Zwickau (dpa/sn) - In Zwickau, a drunk driver caused a traffic accident with two injuries and 30,000 euros in damage. The 60-year-old driver collided with an oncoming car when turning left on Wednesday afternoon, the police said on Thursday morning. The 42-year-old driver and the 44-year-old passenger of the other car were slightly injured. When the accident was recorded, the police officers also found that the 60-year-old driver had a breath alcohol level of 0.7 per mille. Both vehicles had to be towed.
