Königswartha (dpa/sn) - An accident with a police car from the dog unit caused damage of around 150,000 euros on Friday. A 58-year-old driver ignored the right of way in Koengiswartha in the morning, so that his car collided with the police van, the Görlitz police department said. The police car then overturned. The 58-year-old was slightly injured, the 35-year-old police officer seriously. Nothing happened to his service dog, it said. Both vehicles had to be towed.
