Saxony: Extensive modernization work at Dresden Airport

Dresden (dpa / sn) - Dresden Airport is being extensively modernized. Passenger and baggage handling in the terminal is to be renewed by March 2024, as announced by Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG on Monday. The new station for the federal police should be built by the beginning of next year. The costs are estimated at nine million euros. New control devices for hand luggage and full-body scanners are planned. The construction work will be carried out during ongoing business operations.
