Saxony: fare dodger hits the train attendant

Leipzig (dpa / sn) - A suspected fare dodger hit a train attendant on an S-Bahn and hit her in the head. The 34-year-old was supposed to pay a fine of 60 euros on Monday afternoon, but then suddenly struck, as the federal police announced on Tuesday. The man should get off the train. But that didn't seem to suit him either and, according to the police, he also tried to hit railway security staff. The train attendant complained of a slight headache after the attack. The man known to the police is now being investigated for fraudulently obtaining benefits and bodily harm.
