Limbach-Oberfrohna (dpa/sn) - A garbage truck burned out completely in the Zwickau district. According to the Saxony police, a 32-year-old employee was on his emptying tour in Limbach-Oberfrohna on Thursday morning when a fire broke out in the driver's cab. At the time, the man was busy emptying a dumpster and was not in the truck. He was unharmed. The Firefighters put out the fire.
The estimated property damage amounts to at least 250,000 euros. It has not yet been finally clarified how the fire started. According to initial findings, the police are assuming a technical defect. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
