Reichenbach (dpa / sn) - In the Vogtland district, according to the police, an unknown person braked a van in the middle of the motorway and then hit its window. The man is said to have pushed hard on the A72 between Reichenbach and Leipzig and then got in the way of the van with his car, the police said. The stranger then got out and smashed the driver's door window with a flashlight. The 54-year-old van driver was slightly injured by glass splinters.
According to information from Monday, the police are investigating dangerous interference in road traffic and dangerous bodily harm. The driver is said to have continued driving after the incident on Sunday evening. A woman is also being sought who accompanied the man in a second car and is said to have observed the argument.
