Saxony: Kulturfabrik Hoyerswerda is to be further upgraded

Hoyerswerda (dpa/sn) - The Kulturfabrik Hoyerswerda is to be further upgraded and will receive money from the state of Saxony for this. The socio-cultural center of the city will receive around 265,000 euros by 2024, explained Social Affairs Minister Petra Köpping (SPD) on Wednesday during a visit to Hoyerswerda. "We need such places of communal togetherness and support them with our state program. Here people can come together and achieve something together. That strengthens social cohesion." The Kulturfabrik Hoyerswerda association has been active since 1994 and wants to be active across generations and genres with its offers.
