Leipzig (dpa/sn) - When fighting the forest fires in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, the firefighters can only hope for help from the rain on Saturday. As reported by the German weather service in Leipzig, there will be strong local thunderstorms and even severe weather on Friday, primarily in the Vogtland and later in all of western Saxony. In eastern Saxony, on the other hand, it will remain largely dry. The sky is mostly cloudy. The temperatures reach 25 to 28 degrees, in the mountains 20 to 25 degrees.
According to the forecast, it will rain in some areas on Saturday, sometimes with showers. So there are thunderstorms. The temperatures rise to 21 to 24 degrees, in the mountains they are 16 to 20 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy, but mostly dry with temperatures of 25 to 28 degrees, in the mountains the thermometer shows between 19 and 24 degrees.
