Saxony: Man attacks patrol officers in Chemnitz

Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - A 23-year-old attacked patrol officers in Chemnitz. He was taken into custody, the police said. Accordingly, the man suddenly jumped in front of a patrol car in the city center on Sunday morning and hit a 41-year-old officer who had got out of the vehicle. Then he tried to get into the patrol car. When support arrived, he also attacked this police car. Two officers then pushed him to the ground. He is being investigated for assaulting law enforcement officials.
