Saxony: Man drives straight ahead with 2.98 per mille over the roundabout

Kapellenberg (dpa/sn) - A drunk 23-year-old drove his car straight ahead over a traffic circle early on Sunday morning. He lost control of his vehicle when entering the roundabout and then drove over the overgrown traffic island, the police said on Sunday. The significantly increased blood alcohol level was determined by a breath test. Blood was then drawn from the man and criminal proceedings were initiated. The 23-year-old was unharmed.
