Saxony: man shows the Hitler salute to police officers during control

Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - During a police check in Chemnitz city center, a man repeatedly showed the officers the Hitler salute and insulted them. The 32-year-old had previously harassed and shouted at visitors to an event on Saturday night, the police said on Sunday. The man was sent off and also charged with insult and using signs of an unconstitutional organization. Shortly thereafter, he showed up at the police station, aggressive and shouting. Since he did not want to leave despite repeated requests, he was taken into custody overnight.
