Saxony: Man stabs tires from 38 parked cars in Chemnitz

Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - A man stabbed the tires of 38 parked cars in Chemnitz. As the police announced on Saturday, a local resident observed out of the window on Friday afternoon how the stranger was tampering with various vehicles. The summoned police counted 22 cars on this street, each with a punctured tire. Other damaged vehicles were later found on nearby streets. The search for the perpetrator was initially unsuccessful. The amount of the damage cannot yet be quantified.
