Dresden (dpa / sn) - The East Saxon trade has drawn a positive balance on the training market. According to the Dresden Chamber of Crafts on Monday, 2154 young people started training in the chamber district last year, 1.4 percent more than in 2021. This underlines the high attractiveness that the craft enjoys among school leavers, emphasized Andreas Brzezinski, Managing Director of the Dresden Chamber of Crafts.
According to the information provided, most of the contracts were concluded in the areas of motor vehicle mechatronics technicians (318), plumbing, heating and air conditioning technicians (175), electronics technicians (164), carpenters (138) and painters and varnishers (101). According to the chamber, around 80 trades can be learned in handicraft businesses in East Saxony.
