Bautzen (dpa/sn) - In the future, people in East Saxony will have a larger contact point for consumer protection. The Competence and Cooperation Center of the Consumer Advice Center in Saxony was opened in Bautzen on Thursday. Right now there are so many topics that consumers are concerned with, such as energy advice, said Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping. "Thanks to the support from the Free State, mobile advice will also be possible from Bautzen. This is important in a flat state like Saxony," explained the SPD politician.
The Bautzen location is intended to offer easy access to extensive consumer advice. In addition to legal and financial advice, advice is given on healthy eating and efficient use of energy. In addition, the sensitive care of victims of criminal offenses by the Weißer Ring as well as offers from the Bautzen Energy Agency will be available in the center on a regular basis.
