Saxony: Motorcyclist dies after a collision with a car

Grimma (dpa/sn) - Early on Thursday evening, a 53-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident after a head-on collision on federal highway 107 in Grimma. As a police spokeswoman said on Friday morning, the 53-year-old had strayed off the road while overtaking and collided with a vehicle in oncoming traffic. The woman was injured so badly that she succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. The 47-year-old driver of the car and the 48-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. In addition to the emergency services, an expert from Dekra was also on site.
