Saxony: Pedestrian hit by a car in Plauen and seriously injured

Plauen (dpa/sn) - A 49-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Plauen (Vogtlandkreis) and seriously injured. As the police announced on Wednesday, the woman was caught early Tuesday evening when crossing the street by the car of a 37-year-old who was about to turn left. The seriously injured woman was taken to hospital by paramedics. The driver was not injured. According to the information, no property damage was caused.
