Saxony: Regional train collides with a car in Dresden

Dresden (dpa / sn) - A collision between a regional train and a car in Dresden ended lightly on Sunday night. The 20 passengers on the train and the driver were unharmed, the police said. The 57-year-old was unable to cross the level crossing with his car in time, so the train hit the vehicle shortly after midnight. The man was still in the car. The damage was estimated at around 50,000 euros. When the accident was recorded, an alcohol test by the driver showed a blood alcohol level of 0.9, it said.
