Saxony: Restrictions due to wind turbine transports to the Ore Mountains

Marienberg/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - Due to the expansion of the Saidenberg wind farm in the Ore Mountains, drivers in Chemnitz and Marienberg have to be prepared for traffic restrictions. A self-propelled machine will be on the move at walking pace until the end of July to transport the 90 meter long blades for three new wind turbines. It drives both at night and during the day, as the police announced on Monday. There will be significant traffic disruption, especially on federal roads 171 and 174.
