Saxony: Six injured in a traffic accident on the A72

Espenhain (dpa/sn) - Six people were injured in a serious traffic accident on the A72 near Espenhain in the Leipzig district. For an unknown reason, a car drove to the left into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with an oncoming car, the police said on Sunday night. Two people had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries. The A72 was completely closed for six hours on Saturday evening due to the accident recording and the salvage work. The amount of property damage was initially unknown.
