Dresden (dpa/sn) - The Saxon state parliament wants to debate school social work and medical care in hospitals today. The third topic of the current hour is energy policy. Afterwards, Interior Minister Armin Schuster (CDU) will be asked about the current events at the meeting. Schuster had already announced after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday that there is currently no "anger autumn" or "anger winter" on the streets of Saxony. You would only have that if there were violent excesses during the protests.
Following the 60th session of parliament, the state parliament will hold a special session at the request of the AfD. The AfD wants to get the Saxon government to call the Bundesrat's mediation committee to cancel a planned change in paragraph 130 of the penal code. The paragraph is about the offense of sedition.
