Pirna/Dresden (dpa/sn) - The risk of forest fires decreased in Saxony on Saturday. In most regions of the Free State, there was a low to very low risk, as can be seen from the overview of the Sachsenforst state enterprise. Only in the northern areas of the districts of Nordsachsen and Bautzen was there a medium risk. According to the forecast, the risk of forest fires will increase again nationwide in the coming week.
According to the forecast of the German weather service, it should hardly rain in Saxony in the coming week. The temperatures should therefore reach the 30 degree mark again by the middle of the week and continue to rise over the next weekend.
