Saxony: Thomanerchor performs again motets in St. Thomas Church

Leipzig (dpa/sn) - After its Christmas program, the Leipzig Thomanerchor resumes the regular motets in the Thomaskirche. The young singers can be seen on Fridays (6 p.m.) and Saturdays (3 p.m.) as well as at the service on Sunday (9.30 a.m.), the choir announced on Thursday. The highlights for the traditional boys' choir this year are large concerts in the Gewandhaus and several performances at the Leipzig Bach Festival. In addition, two new CD recordings are planned with Thomaskantor Andreas Reize.
