Saxony: Tires stabbed on 19 vehicles in Chemnitz

Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - Two teenagers are said to have punctured a total of 20 tires on several parked cars in the Ebersdorf district of Chemnitz. 19 vehicles were affected, the damage incurred is several thousand euros, as the police announced on Sunday. Shoeprints were secured at the crime scenes, and officers found a knife and fresh shoeprints at the entrance of a residential building nearby, which were identical to those from the crime scene. The matching shoes and their owners then met them in one of the apartments: a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old - they were taken to their parents.
