Saxony: top position: Many women in Saxony go to work

Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - Saxony's women have expanded their nationwide top position in the labor market. The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency in Chemnitz announced on Tuesday that their employment rate had risen by 1.0 percent within a year in 2022. According to this, two out of three women of working age have a job that is subject to social security contributions. With this rate (66.5 percent), the Saxons continue to occupy first place in a nationwide comparison. The national average is therefore 59.2 percent. In addition, women in Saxony are hardly inferior to men (67 percent) when it comes to the employment rate.
