Dresden (dpa / sn) - An unknown elderly man attacked two people at a Greens information stand in Dresden. As the police announced on Tuesday, the attacker threw an egg on a 55-year-old woman on Monday evening. A 40-year-old took a picture of the man. He was then hit in the face by him. Both victims were slightly injured. The attacker got into a car and drove away.
The attacked 40-year-old tweeted about the incident. "This is Dresden," he wrote. The attacker asked whether the Greens were in favor of arms deliveries to Ukraine - and didn't even wait for the answer. A day later he "still had swelling, headache and nose pain," he wrote on Tuesday. In a few days, however, he wants to continue campaigning for the Greens mayoral candidate Eva Jähnigen.
