Saxony: Unknown damage dam Falkenstein

Falkenstein/Zwickau (dpa/sn) - Unknown people used explosives to damage the dam in Falkenstein in Vogtland. As the police in Zwickau announced on Wednesday, the incident should have happened in the past two weeks. When an object detonated, a piece of the railing was blown out of the dam wall. Parts of the measuring house were damaged, it said. The damage is estimated at around 2000 euros. However, if it turns out that parts of the high-quality measuring devices have been damaged, the damage could be much higher.
