Saxony: Unknown steal vibrating plates from the construction site in Chemnitz

Chemnitz (dpa/sn) - Unknown persons stole three vibratory plates with a total value of around 60,000 euros from a construction site in Chemnitz's Rottluff district. As the police announced on Tuesday, the perpetrators probably came to the construction site at the weekend. According to the information, one of the three machines weighed around 800 kilograms and was trapped under an excavator shovel. The other two weighed around 200 kilograms each and were located at a different location on the construction site. The police are investigating a particularly serious case of theft.
