Dresden (dpa / sn) - Volleyball Bundesliga team Dresdner SC is strengthening with national player Elisa Lohmann. The Libera, which was presented in the Saxon state capital on Tuesday, is moving from league rivals VfB Suhl to the Elbe and signing a one-year contract. After Agnes Pallag and Kayla Haneline, Lohmann is the third player to switch from the Thuringian Bundesliga club to the six-time German champions.
The 23-year-old comes from Parchim, played for Schwerin for several years at the beginning of her career, then gained experience with the Swiss first division team Kanti Schaffhausen and most recently two years in Suhl. In Dresden she will organize acceptance and defense in the libero position together with Sophie Dreblow.
