Zwickau (dpa / sn) - The handball players of BSV Sachsen Zwickau have kept their chance of staying up in the first Bundesliga. The team from Saxony won the relegation first leg on Wednesday for the last free place on their home turf against the second division team Frisch Auf Göppingen with 25:21 (13:14) in their favor and travels to Göppingen with a small cushion for the second leg on Saturday . The biggest contributors to the hosts' success were Pia Adams (8/4 goals), Petra Nagy and Chantal Wick (4 each). Sina Ehmann (5) and Janne Lotta Woch (5/1) scored the most goals for the second division team.

In the first half, neither team was able to pull away decisively. Only once in the early stages were the guests ahead with two goals (2:4, 7th).
