The prosecutor's office pulled over Baez on Friday in Fort Lee and he gave police consent to search his car. There, authorities found an "electronic hidden compartment" where $63,500 was stashed, they said.

Police obtained a court order to search his home, where they found almost $319,000 and about four kilograms of suspected cocaine, authorities said.

Baez was held at the Bergen County Jail awaiting his first appearance in the Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.
