Secret Wedding?: Rita Ora should now be called Waititi-Ora

When Christian Lindner gets married, everyone really gets it. Others, on the other hand, are much more discreet when walking down the aisle. Rita Ora for example. The singer is said to have quietly said yes to director Taika Waititi.

Singer Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi are said to have secretly said yes. As an unnamed insider is said to have revealed to the British newspaper "The Sun", the wedding took place during an intimate ceremony in London.

"It was something very special for all the guests. Their loved ones could see how much they are in love," the newspaper quoted its informant as saying. The British singer is now said to go by the name Waititi-Ora.

"Rita is determined to keep the relationship as private as possible and didn't want to make a big fuss about the wedding," the insider continued. A big party without media hype should still follow.

Instead of relaxing together on their honeymoon, Rita Ora in particular is already busy with work again. The singer is currently working in a studio on new music for her third album, according to the "The Sun" report.

There shouldn't have been any big fuss about the couple's engagement about two months ago. "There was no ring," an insider told The Sun at the time. "They just kept getting closer and ended up saying to each other almost simultaneously, 'I want to marry you.'"

Rita Ora and New Zealand director Taika Waititi are said to have been in a relationship since April 2021 and have been friends for some time. In August last year, they appeared together as a couple on the red carpet for the first time.

Ora, who was born in 1990, had her breakthrough song "How We Do (Party)" in 2012. Since then she has had more hits with songs like "Your Song" and "For You".

Waititi, who was born in 1975, first drew attention to himself as a director and screenwriter around the turn of the millennium. He received his first Oscar nomination in 2005 for his short film "Two Cars, One Night". In 2020 he won the trophy in the category "Best Adapted Screenplay" for his tragic comedy "Jojo Rabbit".
