Last Saturday, a father was killed in front of his child in Seine-et-Marne.
Le Parisien reports that the 42-year old man drowned while fishing in Aulnoy's pond with his 6-year-old son.
He was trying to get the large fish he just caught out of water, and he lost his balance. He couldn't even swim.
The son who didn't see his father at the surface alerted motorists not far from the pond.
They dialed the emergency services. The Samu and firefighters arrived on the scene but were unable to save the forties.
