Sexual assault Three arrested for an alleged group rape in a hotel in Las Palmas

The National Police have arrested two German citizens and one Italian for their possible involvement in the rape that a 21-year-old Spanish woman has reported having suffered in a hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This was confirmed this Friday to EFE by sources from the Canary Islands Police Headquarters after local media published that the victim was drugged by the three detainees, aged 25, 28 and 46, who then allegedly raped her at the hotel where they were arrested.

Employees of said establishment learned of these facts, to whom the young woman turned, appearing at the reception desk half-naked to ask for help.

While she claims that she was raped, the three detainees, apparently workers who remain in the city temporarily, maintain that the sexual relations were consensual.
