US actress Annie Wersching has died at the age of 45 from complications from cancer. She was known for her roles as the Borg Queen in "Star Trek: Picard", "24", "Bosch", "Timeless" and as a voice actor for the PlayStation classic "The Last of Us", which has since become an HBO film of the same name series emerged.
As the US portal “Deadline” reports, Wersching was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, which her spokesman also confirmed. Annie Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1977 and began her film and television career with appearances in films such as Bruce Almighty and series such as Star Trek: Enterprise, Charmed and Supernatural before finally embarking on her career received a recurring role as Renee Walker on the series 24.
