BALLSTON SPA -- A Wilton woman was charged with working with another person to bring drugs into the Saratoga County jail, the sheriff's office said.
Victoria F. Amaya, 22, of 214 Jones Road Lot 5 was charged Thursday with promoting prison contraband, a felony.
Amaya, who already was in the jail, and another person worked to get heroin and Adderall into the facility, the sheriff's office said. Amaya had an additional $5,000 bail because of the new charge. She is to appear in Milton Town Court at a later date.
Charges are pending against the second suspect in the case, the sheriff's office said.
