A vehicle that was stolen from Arudy, Haut bearn on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, and then found damaged in Artiguelouve, was the beginning of an investigation that led to six people being arrested, four of them minors, for the same set of crimes.
Two minors from Artiguelouve were first arrested by the Orthez dog team, along with Serres-Castet and Pau gendarmes. They found elements in their laptops that indicated they were involved in petty thefts and damage at a Sevignacq Meyrac school.
The gendarmes in Sainte-Colome and Sevignacq-Meyrac finally made four other arrests, two of them minors. Pau was then taken into police custody at Serres-Castet. They would have admitted the facts. They will be subject to socio-educational surveillance, and adults of an appearance in "plead guilt" at the court of Pau.
