Exactly one month ago, Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari set their secret wedding date. It should be today. Many details about the wedding ceremony are not yet known. But one thing is clear: the guest list is missing some of Britney's family members.
Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari are scheduled to get married this Thursday. This is reported by the US celebrity portal "TMZ". According to the announcement, the ceremony will take place in front of 100 people - although Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, and her sister, Jamie Lynn, should not be a part of it. Her brother Bryan should be present for this, as the website claims to have learned from the singer's environment. It has not yet been decided who will lead Britney to the altar.
There is already speculation about the dress that Britney could wear on her big day: In March she had a visit from designer Donatella Versace.
Asghari had made an application to the pop princess in September - shortly before her father's guardianship was terminated by a court in November 2021 after 13 years. In a highly emotional statement to the court at the time, the singer said she was "traumatized" and "depressed": "I just want my life back." Her allegation that her father prevented her from having a contraceptive coil removed, even though she wanted more children, caused a sensation.
In May, the couple announced that Britney had suffered a miscarriage. "It is with deepest sadness that we have to announce that we lost our miracle baby early in pregnancy," the 40-year-old singer and her 28-year-old partner wrote on Instagram at the time.
Asghari and Britney met in 2016 while filming the music video for Slumber Party. Spears has been married twice, to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours and to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. With Federline she had two sons. For Asghari it is the first yes word.
