Soccer. League of Nations: A shock Spain-Portugal in League A

This is Thursday's shock. After Poland vs Wales on Wednesday, Portugal vs Spain will be facing off at 8:45 pm. Spain was a finalist against France last October and is the winner of the 2019 edition.

Portugal could field Ronaldo, who holds the record for national goals (115), and author of a stunning hat-trick against the same opponent (3-3 in the group stage) at the 2018 World Cup. "CR7", Bernardo Silva and Joao cancelo could be reincarnated as "CR7".

The Czech Republic and Switzerland will be facing off in League A. The Czechs have not qualified for 2022 World Cup Qatar and will be relying on their striker Patrik Schuick, second in the German championship with 24 goals.

These League of Nations matches are preparation for the big meeting of planets, both for the Nati and for other countries that will be playing in the World Cup at end of year.

Dusan Vlahovic's Serbia hosts Erling Braut Haialand's Norway on Thursday. Sweden will travel to Slovenia.
