The Euro U17 final was won by the 16-year-old French teenager against the Netherlands in Netanya (Israel) on Wednesday (2-1).

The Bleuets were dominant in the game and had mostly encountered the Dutch posts during the first part. They were then surprised when the match resumed on one rare occasion of their opponents.

Le Havre Saelkumbedi then won the game. He scored a brilliant goal in the top corner to equalize, and then he scored the winning goal and a second in under two minutes.

After 2015 and 2004, this is the third European title awarded to U17s.

The French defeated Portugal and Germany (both on penalties) during their trip, but lost to the Netherlands in pool.
