For the next season, Vice-champion of France, Olympique de Marseille will be able to fill his Velodrome stadium. Olympique de Marseille announced Friday that it has reached 41,000 subscribers for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. They also put back 3,000 subscriptions on sale until July 17.
This could enable OM to surpass or even beat the 2003-2004 historic record. In that season, 44 415 season tickets were sold.
It is a rare feat in any case. Since October 2016, when Frank McCourt arrived, the club's 40,000 subscribers mark has never been reached.
