Southern Alps. Traffic on the A51 motorway modified for four nights starting July 4.

Vinci Autoroutes (the operator of the A51 connecting La Saulce and Aix-en-Provence), has released four nights in which traffic will be altered. First of all for "vegetation maintenance work" on three successive interchanges for which the entrance and exit ramps will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Operations which will begin in Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, interchange No. 18) The night of July 4 through 5, Pertuis, (Bouches-du-Rhone), interchange No. 15) the night of July 5 to 6, and finally Peyruis (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, interchange no. 20) On the night of July 6 through 7.

Drivers going to Gap on July 4th and wanting to exit at Manosque must take the Cadarache exit (ndeg17). They will need to use the Forcalquier exit (ndeg 18) to reach the motorway. For motorists going to Aix-en-Provence, it is the reverse.

You will need to go towards Gap on July 5th and exit at Manosque by taking the previous interchange (Pertuis ndeg 14). Take the same interchange to reach the motorway. Exit at Venelles (ndeg13) and then head back towards Gap. To exit or enter the motorway in the direction of Aix-en-Provence it is best to use the Pertuis interchange, ndeg 14.

To reach Manosque in the direction Gap on July 6, you'll need to exit at Forcalquier. These are the opposite directions for Aix-en-Provence.

The night of Thursday 7 July to Friday 8 Jul will be the time for an ITER convoy. Due to exceptional convoys, the motorway will be closed in both directions between Pertuis (ndeg15) and Manosque (18) interchanges. Detour routes will be required between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: mandatory exit at Pertuis, in the direction Gap, and Manosque, in the direction Aix-en-Provence.
