The Local Police and the Firefighters of the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Service (SEIS) have put out this morning an outbreak of fire in an electrical panel located outside a nightclub in the Atalayas de Murcia leisure area.
The incident occurred at two in the morning, when the Police and Firefighters received a call from those in charge of the premises warning that smoke was being seen coming out of a panel of electricity meters, located outside the building. on the side of Ceutí street.
The Police and Firefighters deployed in the area proceeded to evacuate the people who were inside the nightclub, for greater security, and ended the fire outbreak quickly.
After solving the incident, the nightclub has been ordered to remain closed until the premises' electrical installations are checked.
13 people died at the beginning of October in the fire at the Fonda Milagros nightclub, located in the same leisure area of Murcia.
The City Council had asked the Inspection services in October 2022 to seal off La Fonda and the adjacent Teatre after having denied their division in January, but they remained open.
