Stephane Ravacley (a baker) is well-known for starting a hunger strike in Jan 2021 in protest against the expulsion his Guinean apprentice. He was also a candidate of Nupes (New People's Ecological and Social Union) in Doubs. This Sunday, June 12, he received 32.51% of vote (final result).

He came in first and will now face Ensemble! Eric Alauzet (outgoing deputy) came in second place with 31.36%.

The national level is a battleground between the president's majority and the union of left, with 22% and 26% respectively. Ensemble would have 275 to 310 seats while Ensemble would have 180 to 210 seats.
